Controlled burning isn't always destructive but at times it isn't in the best of interest for every forest. Fire causes change, and change has it's own value. Certain forest biomes benefit more than others. Change by fire is necessary to maintain many healthy ecosystems. A controlled burn also helps to restore the environment's natural terrain.
Destructive wildfire was prevented by burning under safer conditions with the necessary tools for the control. An appropriately controlled burn would reduce fuels that reduce fuels that fed dangerous fires and assure that the next fire season would not bring destructive, property damaging fire.
In Hobbs State Park, Arkansas State Park rangers burned 750 acres of forest floor. The main purpose was to turn all of the combustible leaf litter into ash. It will cut down the likely hood of a wildfire. The Arkansas State Park service monitored the fires all day. The state says it will be amazing what will spring up once these flames die down.
Fire is a natural part of both forest and grassland ecology and controlled fire can be a tool for foresters. Hazard reduction or controlled burning is conducted during the cooler months to reduce fuel buildup and decrease the likelihood of serious hotter fires.
Overall I think "Controlled" burning is okay, I'm pretty sure you need a permit to burn something as big as like the prairie.

Animal Farm 4/25
Author's Note: Currently in book club we are reading Animal Farm, a book about the Russian revolution. I am doing a response I what I think so far. Mostly about Napoleon and his ways, and who my favorite character is and why.
I think that the commandments of the farm house are reasonable. I think that just because the pigs are the smartest, they think they should be in charge. I feel like Squealer is Napoleon's servant, if the animals seemed worked up to Napoleon he will send Squealer to talk to them. I think that Napoleon is sort of setting it up to where if the other animals find out that he broke the rules he can blame it all on Squealer. Napoleon makes "friends" and manipulates them for his on ways, and if they try to stop him, he will for surely get rid of them right away.
My favorite character so far is probably Snowball, because he challenges Napoleon for the ultimate power of the animal farm after the rebellion. Snowball is intelligent, passionate, eloquent, and less subtle and devious than his counterpart, Napoleon. It also seems like he wins most of the animals loyalty and cements his power.

Family and friends: Part embarrissing
Do you ever get really embarrassed by one or more of your family members? I'm lucky enough not to have that happen very often. My dad talks about embarrassing me a lot, but he never actually does it. I do thank him for that, but I always wondered what it would actually be like.
I think overall I am the most embarrassing person in my family. Out of my friends I might be the lowest, every b-day lunch all of my friends sing happy birthday to me even if it isn't my birthday! Then throughout the day people say happy birthday to me. Sometimes it gets pretty annoying, only because they do it almost every day.
A lot of times I will embarrass myself, I'm sure all of us have embarrassed ourselves once. One time in the mall, I tripped getting off of the escalator, then when I got back up I told everyone I tripped on the alligator. Everyone laughed at me, but I was pretty little so I just laughed with them.

Cats and Dogs
I love cats and dogs, they are two of my favorite animals. I have a dog, his name is Max and he is turning seven this year! I also have a cat, his name is Brooks and I don't exactly know how old he is. I don't see my cat very often, because he is kind of lazy, in a Garfield way. When I do see my cat it is very fun to sit there and play with him though. I see my dog almost everyday, he is fun, energetic as well as old for a dog.
Do you like cats or dogs better? It's a hard decision for some of you, like it is for me. I came down to my final decision not that long ago. I like dogs better they are so fun to be around. But I don't like the ones that are all mean to people. Cats are fun, but the cats I have seen don't come out and play very often, it's almost like they don't even care they just want food, water, and sleep time. That's the way a lot of people are too though, pretty stupid I know.

Country Comparison
When it came to comparing countries I would choose Italy, Canada, Australia. The first country I eliminated was Canada because, Canadians on average make less money than both Italy, and Australia. Canada is right above us, and it is really fun there, but Italy is my grandmas home town, and Australia seems like a really cool place to live. Italy has many different types of food and can feed the majority of Italy. Australia is a continent, island, and a country. That is pretty awesome, and look at how beautiful Australia is. All the animals from kangaroos to crocodiles! Canada has Canadian bacon, which is really just ham but they call it bacon for some odd reason, and Canada has some really cool places to visit. The second tallest tower in the world is held in Canada.
I would overall want to live in Italy, mostly because it is my grandma's home country. Also because they have really good food, and I would really like to learn the language they speak there.
